The prototype of the ADELI SUIT was developed in 1971 by the Russian Center for Aeronautical and Space Medicine to prevent hypo-kinesis in cosmonauts who are exposed to prolongated weightless conditions. Since 1992 this revolutionary and innovative device has proven to be successful in medical applications in rehabilitating patients with Cerebral Palsy, brain trauma and various neuromuscular disorders.
Striving to meet our patients’ expectations we try to widen the range of rendered rehabilitation services.
We would like to inform our patients that we have opened a Hand Therapy Room for the benefit of patients suffering from chronic illness and ailment of the hand, with paralytic, rheumatoid, degenerative and post surgical changes. The goal of the hand therapy is the improvement of upper extremity function with the application of a set of devices intended for complex therapy.
The goal for patients working under the supervision of experienced and highly qualified therapists will be to decrease muscle and joint contractures and to improve muscular strength and coordination of hand movement.
Hand therapy is another element of the complex, intensive loco-motor rehabilitation offered by Euromed Rehabilitation Center.
